Qualifications and Skills
• 5 years of experience with relevant electrical interconnection work
• Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering required
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or relevant power-related field is preferred
• Professional Engineer designation in Canada or US is considered an asset
• experience in Nova Scotia Power, New Brunswick Power, Ontario IESO, ISO-NE, PJM and /
or NYISO territories is preferred

Job Description
This is a results-oriented role that would suit a highly motivated individual with experience in
renewable energy technologies. The successful candidate will work with SWEB Development’s
(SWEB) team members with expertise in renewable energy policy and incentives, real estate, GIS,
legal, design, permitting, site preparation, finance and construction. In addition, the successful
candidate will be expected to:
• represent SWEB as a technical expert with utilities, ISOs, and / or RTOs
• supporting site acquisition with information on grid capacity
• developing single and three-line diagrams for distribution and transmission-level
Interconnection Applications
• running power flow analyses of utility scale projects for different scenarios of congestion
constraints
• maintaining knowledge of tariffs and technical standards at the utility scale projects
• familiarity working with wholesale energy markets as well as ancillary service markets
• analyzing Feasibility, System Impact and Facility Studies from the utilities, ISOs and / or
RTOs for cost reductions and time reduction of upgrades
• informing design and decisions for projects in queue
• negotiating system upgrade alternatives for cost, and timelines
• negotiating utility, ISO, and / or RTO level Interconnection Service Agreements
• performing site visits periodically over the course of the projects
• tracking technological advancements and drive adoption, as applicable
• act as a liaison between electrical suppliers and EPCs
• supporting pre-construction team with interconnection requirements and electrical
design
• supporting construction team with technical tasks, including design, equipment
selection and changes as well as managing utility, ISO, and / or RTO schedules
• supporting financing team and operations team with technical queries

Job Description
The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all administrative functions
for the US including invoice and purchase order and expense management, as well as general
office management. Additionally, the function is responsible for both internal and external
communications support such as website support, media coordination, community liason
committee support, organizing employee events as well as supporting the origination team in
planning, organizing and executing community engagements. General support to pursue the
growth strategy of WEB Group in the US, especially as recruiting assistance and HR related tasks.
Tasks
Admin/Office Management
• first point of contact in the US office
• support general administrative office functions and key contact for selected third parties
(e.g. building management, office supplies, copier, courier/post, telephone system,
travel coordination, agenda management, vacation tracking etc.)
• maintenance of invoices and purchase orders in BMD as well as payment support and
management of corporate credit cards
Human Resources
• responsible for the bi-weekly time recording, employee expenses and travel tracking

We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager for our growing portfolio of wind and solar
assets in the US and Canada. This position will play a key role in successful commercial operation
with a variety of responsibilities ranging from meeting administrative grid compliance to power
marketing to insurance management. Our actual North American fleet has a total capacity of about
100 MW and we will see a significant increase in the next few years.
The Ideal Candidate
• Accompany wind and solar projects in US and Canada from the late development phase
on throughout the entire life cycle.
• Manage administrative grid compliance requirements with different utilities and
independent system operators, such as ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, NB Power, NS Power.
• Work with internal team and external advisors to perform filings with regulatory
commissions, such as FERC, NEPOOL, EIA.
• Track and manage on-going compliance in the U.S. with respect to FERC, market-based
rate authority.
• Manage power marketing topics, such as energy and capacity sales, and ancillary
services.
• Review revenue and billing from utilities and / or ISOs in relation to power generation.
• Develop energy risk management plans.
• Understand the market dynamics and grid requirements for energy storage systems.
• Mange RECs: registration, certification, sales, and transfer.
• Responsible for evaluating and binding insurance coverage for all phases of projects
(ensure contractual compliance, RFPs, RFQs).
• Administer leases, ensure payment of rent, real estate taxes, personal property taxes.
• Excellent communication and negotiating skills, strong attention to detail.
• Ability to execute complex assignments with a high degree of initiative and
professionalism.
• Ability to drive practical solutions out of complex situations.
