The Little River project was developed in collaboration with our local partner Scotian Windfields within the context of the “Community feed in tariff program”. Project planning commenced in 2012, and project development work lasted for about two years.

The facility is located in Nova Scotia, south east of the city of Yarmouth. The Little River Wind Farm ranks among the first three W.E.B wind farms in Canada. Little River was designed to utilize the same grid line for interconnection as well as use the same overhead pole line to run both circuits for Little River & Black Pond.  

This 1.99-megawatt project consists of one turbine.
